The Democracy Narratives Alliance — a coalition of 40+ organizations and funders — has released an 11-point action agenda to put its global research into practice, from the Democracy Stories Lab and narratives playbook to youth mentorship and influencer partnerships. If you're working on how people talk and think about democracy, there's a place for you in this work.
How communities can shape big policies: Three stories of local reformers
People Powered members are showing what changes when the people closest to a problem get to shape the response. Each of these stories started differently: a lone reformer inside a ministry, a community organization with deep local roots, a civic tech team with a stalled policy to unstick. But all of them arrived at the same place: concrete policy change driven by the people it affects most. All three joined People Powered's programs and stayed as members.
