GROW model planning template

A structured peer-planning tool to support teacher-led initiatives on student voice in schools.

This planning template introduces the GROW model — Goal, Reality, Options, Way Forward — as a structured tool for school staff to design and reflect on student participation initiatives. Aimed at teams of 8–12 teachers (though also usable individually), the 60-minute workshop encourages collaborative planning and critical feedback using peer-to-peer dialogue. Participants apply the GROW framework to outline goals, assess current realities, explore options and barriers, and define concrete next steps to strengthen student voice in decision-making across classrooms or the whole school.
