School PB Playbook

A guide with open questions designed to help schools implement a participatory budgeting process where students directly engage in decision-making over a school’s budget.

The Playbook outlines the full cycle of implementation—from setting aside funds, collecting ideas, developing proposals, through to voting and project implementation. It emphasises student agency, civic learning, inclusive participation, and using real budget decisions to deepen democratic culture in the school.
