"Phygital" youth participation: Guidelines and quality indicators
/A specialized guide for combining physical and digital elements ("phygital") to enhance youth engagement in local democracy.
This document is a product of the "Phygital youth participation" project (2023–2025), which developed innovative methodologies to engage young people in European elections and local policy-making. The "phygital" approach integrates tangible physical methods—such as workshops and focus groups — with digital technologies like interactive mapping, augmented reality, or AI tools. The guidelines provide quality indicators across three main pillars: transparency and fairness, inclusivity and accessibility, and results and accountability.
