Multilingual dialogue onsite: Icebreaker and warm-up polling

A slide template for breaking the ice and onboarding in multilingual dialogues without translation, as well as a template with warm-up polling questions.

This document is a specialized presentation deck designed for the opening phase of a transnational event. It facilitates "onboarding" by using written slides in four languages (Dutch, English, German, and French) and physical movement exercises — such as "voting with your feet" — to build trust among participants before formal simultaneous translation services begin the following day. It includes sections for warm-up questions, a favorite food contest, and digital polling via Sli.do to gauge initial participant sentiment about the EU.
