Website of the Riga citizens' assembly, which gathered 35 residents to collaborate with experts on sustainable urban development and climate policies.

The Riga Citizens' Assembly, running from September to November 2024, aimed to involve residents in the city's green planning. It brought together 35 citizens and experts to collaboratively develop ideas for sustainable urban development. Citizens' assemblies are considered effective tools for participatory democracy, especially on complex issues. This initiative promoted informed public involvement in decision-making, particularly regarding climate-related policies.
