Benefits of class discussions on democracy

This article presents the key findings of a study from Spain on the benefits of discussing democracy in the classroom.

The study, from the Universities of Malaga and Huelva in Spain, concludes that students who discuss democracy and human rights improve their listening skills and become more tolerant and confident.
