What Should We Do Together in 2022?
/How should we build and improve participatory democracy around the world? How should we support you in your work?
We’re planning for 2022 and want you to help decide what we do! You are part of a global community of participatory democracy advocates, organizations, and researchers, and you know best what you need. That’s why People Powered is inviting you to decide our 2022 spending priorities and organizational policies. We’re committing $200,000 to fund your top priorities, thanks to support from One Project.
To start, please share your ideas:
Budget ideas for projects that we should do, related to communications, resource materials, capacity-building support, research, member activities, community building, and other areas of work
Policy Ideas for organizational policies that we should adopt, related to issues such as organizational communications, membership, research, governance, finance, and fundraising
Deadline to submit ideas: October 24.
Before proposing new ideas, please review the projects we funded in prior years; our plan for the next two years; and the criteria for proposals. You can also review and comment on ideas that other people submitted.
Our member organizations, boards, and staff will then turn the ideas into a shortlist of proposals, and vote to decide which to implement in 2022.
