About the role
Join People Powered at the heart of a dynamic global movement, where participatory democracy meets climate action. In this exciting role, you'll support governments and civil society actors worldwide to launch participatory climate initiatives that empower communities, amplify marginalized voices, and shape environmental policies that are both equitable and actionable.
You’ll be stepping into a high-impact, globally connected role by designing and delivering interactive learning experiences, supporting participants as they develop real-world climate projects through the Climate Democracy Accelerator, and creating practical resources—from toolkits to videos—that turn democratic climate ideals into action.
From Himalayan citizens’ assemblies restoring forests to participatory agriculture projects in Zimbabwe, you’ll help partners design inclusive, locally driven climate solutions. This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in collaborative, multicultural teams and believes that solving the climate crisis means putting more voices at the decision-making table.
