Participedia School 2025 in Rio de Janeiro will spotlight democratic innovations led by social movements, Indigenous peoples, and traditional communities across Latin America and its diaspora. This week-long, collaborative learning experience will explore community-led responses to democratic deficits, environmental injustice, authoritarianism, and colonial legacies.

Organized with a powerful network of academic institutions and civil society partners—including People Powered, International IDEA, Democracy International, and others—the program features panels, workshops, co-design labs, and a community day to connect participants directly with grassroots actors.
